This recipe is an easy way to impress your guests at the next function! Get them crispy just before you’re ready to serve, then pop them in the air fryer for a few minutes!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 10 oz. containers Fresh Cravings Jalapeño Pineapple dip
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • ¼ head cabbage
  • 1 5 oz. container fresh cut pineapple
  • 1 bunch cilantro, chopped
  • Salt
  • 2-gallon containers of oil for frying, canola or vegetable

Equipment

  • Tabletop fryer
  • Air fryer (optional)

Directions

  1. Prepare cabbage garnish by shredded cabbage and adding about 1 tablespoon of salt. Dice pineapple and add with cilantro to cabbage. Set aside.
  2. Have a small bowl or ramekin filled with water. Lightly wet half of the edge of each wonton wrapper. Place about 1 teaspoon worth of Fresh Cravings Jalapeño Pineapple dip in the center of each wonton wrapper. Fold in half and press to seal the wet edge to the dry edge. Work in batches of 6.
  3. As you’re filling the wontons, preheat the tabletop fryer to 400F. Deep fry wontons in batches of 8-10 just until wrappers are golden brown and crispy looking. Remove and set on a paper towel lined sheet tray to drain off excess oil.
  4. Garnish with pineapple cabbage slaw and serve! (Deep fry the wontons prior to serving and reheat briefly in the air fryer).
