Easy Fish Tacos

Every day is Taco Tuesday if you just believe. Try these easy, tasty fish tacos for a 30-minute or less meal!

Taco Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. fillets of tilapia or cod/haddock
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil to drizzle
  • 8 6” flour or corn tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 sliced avocado
  • 1 medium lime-wedged
  • Garnish with Fresh Cravings Restaurant Style salsa, cilantro, sliced radishes, sliced jalapenos, matchstick carrots, crumbled queso fresco cheese and scallions

Rub

  • 1 Tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Fish Taco Sauce

  • 2 Tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 3 Tablespoon sour cream
  • 1/3 cup Fresh Cravings Restaurant Style salsa- Medium
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin

Directions 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F
  2. Combine all the fish taco sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
  3. Pour ½ the fish sauce onto shredded cabbage and toss lightly, set aside.
  4. Combine rub ingredients and rub into fish fillets. Place fish on parchment line pan and drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until flaky and cooked
  6. Heat tortillas according to package directions.
  7. Break fish into large chunks and divide between tortillas.
  8. Fill tortillas with shredded cabbage, fish, and desired garnishes.
  9. Drizzle with remaining fish sauce.
